First timers

What type of class should I attend?

All first-time riders must attend a Foundation 60 class before moving on to other classes.

The Foundation15 class is a 15-minute introductory session designed to help you:

  • Learn how to set up your bike properly for safety and comfort.
  • Understand the basics of cycling positions and movements.
  • Familiarize yourself with the studio layout and how the class flows.

This ensures you’re prepared and confident for your first full ride!

What should I bring to class?

Make sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, socks, and comfortable workout attire. If you don’t own cycling shoes, you can rent a pair at the studio. Sweat and shower towels are provided at the studio as well.

How should I prepare for my first class?

Hydrate by drinking water throughout the day leading up to class. Eat a light snack about 1-2 hours before class to fuel your workout. Arrive on-time at your scheduled Foundation15 class to check in, set up your bike, and settle in. Most importantly, bring an open mind - get ready to sweat, have fun, and push yourself in a supportive environment!

What happens during the Foundation15 session?

During this session, your instructor will teach you how to adjust the bike seat and handlebars, show you how to clip in and out of the pedals safely, and explain the basic cycling movements, resistance adjustments, and positions. They’ll also answer any questions you might have to ensure you’re ready for the main class.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes! You may cancel or reschedule your class up by 9pm the night before the scheduled start time to avoid losing your class credit.
